DESCRIPTION: Tropical by nature this beautiful plant adapts easily to any home conditions - an easy to care for and super tolerant. The young plants are a tuft of upright leaves and as the plant grows it forms a cane-like stem with lush deep green cascading, sword-shaped foliage. A popular plant due to its high rating in the 1989 NASA study for removing indoor air pollutants.
HEIGHT: May grow up to 2m tall.
LIGHT/POSITION: Tolerates low light but medium light is ideal. Avoid direct light as the leaves can scorch.
WATERING: In the warmer months it tends to put on growth and needs more water. In winter allow to dry out a bit more between watering. If it is too dry the leaves will tell you by drooping. Never let it sit in water – good drainage is essential.
