BOTANICAL NAME: Asplenium nidus
COMMON NAME: Bird’s Nest Fern
DESCRIPTION: A tropical jungle plant native to Australia. They grow in a series of erect, spoon-shaped, and apple-colored green fronds that rise from a central rosette.
LIGHT/POSITION: Bright but indirect light. Needs humidity and warmth with sufficient light like in a bathroom.
WATERING: Keep their compost moist, but don't let the plant become soggy. Also, avoid watering right into the "nest" as that encourages mold and rot. Water the soil rather than the plant.
